Providing charging stations for federal employees with electric and hybrid vehicles at no charge will encourage the expanded use of energy efficient vehicles.

Incentives for companies to provide similar facilities and cities and towns to provide reserved paid parking with charging stations would provide a boost to the emerging 'new' car industry, with economic and environmental benefits on a broad scale.
