provide free meals to every elementary student from prekindergarten through 6th grade regardless of ability to pay.

Created by B.S. on December 06, 2013

There are many reports of elementary children being denied breakfast or lunch in public schools. One recent report was a 6 year old child who went to the cafeteria with several other children since breakfast was offered before school. Many of these children were approved for free meals and other's brought payment. This little girl picked up a box of cereal and carton of milk. When she got to the cashier, she was told she couldn't have breakfast because she didn't have money to pay. They took her cereal and milk away from her and she had to go sit on the floor while the other children ate their breakfast. Every child in elementary school up through the 6th grade should have free meals regardless of the ability to pay.
