Currently many large companies provide tuition assistance for their employees. If the Government provided this assistance, at the request of the companies, it would :
1. allow small companies to also train their employees
2. Only provide assistance for courses that are deemed useful or relevant by that company, eliminating the wasteful subsidizing of irrelevant or useless courses.
3. Require a potential student to be vouched for by that company.
4. Would help the businesses , which should appeal to Republicans.
5. Would help poor kids who can't afford college.
6. Would essentially be a work study program that helps the people who are already willing to work for it.
