Provide full and detailed accounting of the Iranian capture of US Navy personnel that took place on Jan 12, 2016.

The American public has not to this day received a full accounting of the Iranian capture of US Navy personnel in the Persian Gulf on Jan 12, 2016. We have been told conflicting stories, navigational errors or mechanical problems as causes. What really happened? The President should direct DOD to hold a dedicated press conference to lay out the precise timeline, maps depicting the area of capture, and the exact causes of this capture. This was a despicable event, in full media view worldwide, and now being used as propaganda by the Iranians. The American public deserves no less to see and understand what actually happened and this petition calls upon President Obama to direct those in his Administration to ensure this public accounting event takes place as soon as possible.
