Enact legislation that would train employees of schools to be properly prepared for emergency situations. This could be similar to what was created after 9/11 when pilots were trained to carry firearms. By allowing employees at the schools to carry firearms these shootings could end with fewer innocent victims.
Murderers prey on the weak. These "Gun Free Zones" are only obeyed by law abiding citizens. Murderers don't care about these zones. With the proper procedures and training there would no threat to students by the school staff.
The millions of Americans who carry guns lawfully are responsible and safe. We can't allow these tragedies to impact our freedom and Civil Liberties. We need to deter the murderers while maximizing our Freedom.
