Provide funding for historical landmarks.

Historical landmarks should gain Federal or State funding because many are falling into disrepair.
One instance of landmark disrepair is KAM Isaiah Israel, which is one of the oldest Synagogues in Chicago. KAM used to have a very large congregation but over the years it has continually dwindled down to a few dozen families, and to say the least the building is falling apart due to water damage, and lack of funds necessary to fix or replace broken or weathered stones and bricks.
KAM and many other landmarks should be funded to preserve not only historical buildings, but buildings that also hold a lot of sentimentality as well.
