Provide funding for NASA to build the Nautilus - X

Created by D.F. on September 02, 2013

The current trajectory for NASA's new launch vehicle, the SLS/MPCV is unsustainable. The Office of the Inspector General just determined that NASA will end up spending 16.5 BILLION dollars to develop a one time use disposable capsule. An internal NASA study, that was made public, determined that a reusable fuel depot and a reusable vehicle called NAUTILUS-X would only cost 10 billion.

EVERY form of transportation uses fuel stations. Even horses had livery stable. It is time of America to adopt REUSABLE spacecraft and stop the insanity of throwing 3.5 billion dollars worth of hardware into the ocean after each launch of the SLS/MPCV.

This will create new jobs, stop huge goverment waste and utilize new technology for the 21st century.
