The United States Army, US Army Reserve, Army National Guard, and the Army Corp of Engineers have Engineer units and Water Purification Units very close to Michigan that could begin work in 24 hours. The Water Purification Unit can produce up to 200,000 gallons of potable water in a 24 hour period. They along with the Engineers can set up shower stations, and water points. The Engineers and the Army Corps of engineers can start on replacing the water distribution system. FEMA should begin contracting services to aid in this relief.
