Lets be honest, the federal government is anything but frugal with tax payers money. I would like to see a portion of that money spent on something that benefits the people in a positive way and promotes competition in an industry smothered by poor services. (Verizon, Time Warner, ATT, etc) I herby petition the government to award google the amount of money needed to cover the entire continental US. The only stipulation that should be placed on the money is that it goes towards Googles Fiber internet service. It is not a loan. The money shall not warrant the government to regulate or spy on it's citizens who use the service. It is merely tax payers funding a service that is vastly better than anything we're being offered by other ISP's in this country.
