Current immigration system doesn't allow foreign students who get higher education degrees from USA universities to get immediate green cards even if they have a valid job offer. It is up to their employer if they want to apply Green card petition for them and even if they do, it takes decades to get the green card depending on the category under which the petition is applied. Due to this more and more students go back to their home countries after graduation which then competes with USA on global level. If these students get green card faster it will help USA economy- More students will stay here in USA and will contribute to USA economy by paying taxes, buying house which will help housing industry. They will open new businesses and will create jobs. We need serious immigration reform.
