The key to a thriving and successful economy in the global market is an innovative and educated workforce. For America to truly lead the world, we must lead the world in education. I propose the establishment of a tax payer funded public university system to enable the higher education of all citizens who have the aptitude and desire to learn, not just those who can afford it, and thus ending the practice of ridiculous tuition fees that force our young to incur massive amounts of debt to become better citizens. Education should be a right, not a privilege.
