By offering huge incentives for Americans to buy USA-made products we will help our economy by supporting local businesses. It is sometimes difficult as a consumer to choose USA made products because products can be made cheaper overseas. Some of these overseas companies may not be abiding by Fair Trade laws, and exploiting cheap labor. For this reason, the US Govt. should consider harsh penalties for any companies who import products from companies that do not abide by Fair Trade laws.
