The fighting in Syria has caused over 500,000 people to seek shelter in other regions. They have nothing and are dying from the ravages of war and exposure to freezing temperatures. Afghans are suffering the same fate in Kabul and other regions where very little to no aid is reaching them. The U.S. military should begin an airlift on par with the great Berlin Airlift to begin delivering the required aid.
