Provide immediate support to the rescue organization in Syria, the Syrian Civil Defense, also known as the White Helmets

The White Helmets - or the Syrian Civil Defense - are volunteer rescue workers in the most dangerous place on earth, Syria. They are rescuing civilians as more than 50 bombs and mortars a day land on neighborhoods in Syria. The White Helmets have saved 2,514 lives in the past year alone - and demand for help is growing daily and they badly need supplies to continue their humanitarian mission. We, the people of the United States of America, urge President Obama and the current administration to find a way to promptly send supplies and support to this rescue organization and support this vital life line to help ordinary citizens who are suffering as a result of the conflict in Syria. Our help is needed. Many human lives will depend on our response and we can and should make a difference.
