Provide immigrant visas to foreign-born STEM graduates thus enabling them start businesses and contribute to the Economy

Created by P.B. on November 01, 2012

Foreign born nationals with advanced degrees in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) are forced to leave United States after they graduate as there is no clear path for permanent residency. The young entrepreneurs thus do not have an option to start businesses and contribute to the economy. Other advanced economies have streamlined their immigration policies embrace immigration of talented individuals with advanced degrees who can contribute to their economies. Research shows that every High-tech job by an immigrant individual creates 3 additional jobs for US citizens. The current American immigration system is broken and is incompatible with the modern times. It needs to be fixed to maintain the American values of innovation and prosperity.
