Many jobs go unfilled because businesses cannot find qualified applicants. Why not create a set of regional liaison offices that can canvas local business (big and small) for positions that they are having difficulty fulfilling. Some positions may require highly specialized disciplines; others may not require a degreed applicant, but have a need for some sort of uniquely skilled labor. Curriculums can be set up, installed and monitored with a collaborative effort between a selected school (to include universities, colleges, high schools and trade schools) and the petitioning company. Company requirement: staffing for curriculum, monitoring, testing requirements, and (possibly) the selection of candidates for classes. School requirement: selection of teaching staff, logistics, cost/fees.
