Solar Roadways is capable of solving many of our issues while creating countless jobs. We recognize that the private sector can only do so much on their own. Therefore, we petition the U.S. federal government to offer incentives, from funding the industrialization of this technology to tax credits/rebates for businesses and townships to encourage adoption.
The U.S. contains 4 million+ miles of roadways that would be replaced, leading to countless jobs and would be capable of producing far more energy than the national usage.
The roadways would be safer during the winter due to melting snow and ice. This would save many townships a large amount of tax dollars and save insurance companies for weather-related motor vehicle accidents.
