The Swiss in the last year have elected and passed a law that gives every Swiss adult 2500 Francs or $2800 a month without having to be employed. By electing to do this in the United States, the benefits by far outnumber the risks. One of the main concerns is that people will not have any incentive to work but people would rather work and live comfortably rather than have to survive on the given amount of $33,600 a year. What this income will provide is the ability to walk away from a job without the fear of not being able to provide for their family.
