PROVIDE LABELING OF PHOTOSHOP PICTURES USED FOR ADVERTISEMENT TO EMPHASIS THEM AS BEING A MISGUIDED PERCEPTION OF BEAUTY

Created by S.P. on April 16, 2014

This petition is searching for legislation to provide labeling on every picture used in modeling or advertisements that is photoshopped or altered in any way in order to portray that it is a misguided perception of beauty and unrealistic, so young women viewing these photos do not resort to dangerous health issues such as anorexia or bulimia because they are trying to be as "skinny" or "perfect" as the women in the photos. Ultimately, this petition is to help reduce the problems created by the fashion industry, which discriminates against certain body types and promotes body dissatisfaction among the majority of our population.
