In light of the recent death of 3-year-old Aylan Kurdi trying to cross to Europe, and the lack of leadership across the world in dealing with the humanitarian crisis in Syria we ask the Obama administration to do more.
Act to provide safe haven for refugees both inside and outside of Syria
Act to break down the barriers of fear that makes us hostile and indifferent to the plight of our fellow man
Act to provide real opportunity for people
Act to prevent tragedies like this from continuing to happen
We are a country of immigrants. We have all left somewhere to make a better life here.
