Many people are worried that having an armed officer on a school campus would lead to anxiety and fear among students and parents, but we are already anxious and fearful.
We currently have armed guards at banks, airports, businesses and government offices - what is more precious to protect than the lives of our children? Let this become the new norm!
Look at the benefit to the government of having these heroes interact with our children daily. They will look up to these everyday heroes and many will want to grow up and join forces through the military, police and fire departments.
