We petition the administration to provide lethal military assistance to the Syrian Opposition Council (SOC), recognized by America as the legitimate representative of the Syrian people.

America is committed to a Syria without Assad and recognizes the SOC. We have partners in Syria capable of ousting the regime and opposed to extremist groups like Jabhat al-Nusra. It’s time we provide our partners with the assistance they need.
Providing the SOC with the tools they need to dismantle the regime is consistent with American principles and American interests. A strong SOC will end the war, providing stability and allowing refugees to return home. A strong SOC will also help secure chemical weapons that terrorist groups are already trying to obtain.
