Put an end to the ridiculous amount of welfare spending on recipients who abuse the welfare system. Our welfare system is only encouraging citizens on welfare to depend on welfare and that mentality is handed down to their children. There is no incentive to better themselves or attempt to establish any kind of self pride or competentcy. These people only make it harder for people who do go out and work everyday and struggle to provide for their own families so that these people can sit at home and collect their checks. They are also the main ones we see in our ER departments and clinics for minor headaches and other non-emergent or imaginary illnesses only for the sake of getting pain medications to sell on the street. This problem is unchecked and basically endorsed by the government.
