Boko Haram, a group which for all intents & purposes is a terrorist organization, has murdered over 10,000 people in an effort to end Western education in its area. On February 25th, 2014, BH gunmen killed 59 students at a boarding school in the Yobe state of Nigeria. According to the local police commissioner, "Some of the students' bodies were burned to ashes", while others were murdered with gunfire. As a parent, reading sporadic reports of BH's attacks on schools makes me physically ill. If we are willing to go to war to spread our brand of government to areas in the Middle East, or over attacks on our homeland, or to depose dictators with no discernible effect on our citizens, why will we not use our military to protect the precious lives of children being murdered by the dozens?
