Provide More Aid and Funding For College Students and Graduates

Created by J.C. on September 28, 2011

The average 2011 graduate is now $22,900 in debt due to school costs. Every year college tuition in America rises by 5% and the average amount of student debt rises by 8%. We have been told since elementary school that college is the key to our future but when we finally receive our diplomas, many of us are set years behind due to the costs we have incurred from these institutions. To compensate, 75% of students work jobs on top of their schooling, commute to class, or go part-time according to the LA Times. Only 25% of part-timers actually graduate. We want to increase graduation rates and stay competitive in global market? Help the future of this country. There is no reason why the government needs to make money off the interest on student loans. We can pay you back with success not cash
