We need to increase our financial and in-kind contribution to fighting Ebola in Africa. While our involvement in the ISIS conflict is going to cost billions of dollars and may not turn out positively for the US or the people of the region, we can save thousands of lives in Africa if we will just contribute a serious amount of money to the UN mission. The amount we have spent on the Ebola crisis is a drop in the bucket compared to the amount that is needed and the US needs to be a leader in providing the necessary funds, personnel, and supplies.
