America lead the world by landing a man on the moon in 1969. NASA should once again aim to push further into space by landing a man on Mars. Our nation has lost it's vision for the future; let's inspire a love of math and science in a new generation by turning our sights upwards, once again. What could be a better cure for national disunity and partisanship than a groundbreaking trip into space? When the first manned mission lands on Mars, lets make sure that its astronauts have the American flag on their shoulders. Let's claim the 21st Century the way our country did the 20th. President Obama and the Congress should provide NASA with the necessary funding to land a crew on Mars.
