History has proven that when well meaning powers stand by while aggresive nations move to increase their power in the world, the U.S. ends up in the middle of a much larger war.
It is time for the U.S. to provide the military and non-military support required to privide the Syrian ethnic majority the opportunity to settle the unrest in their country. They don't have the resources to compete against the Iranians, Lebanese, and Russians who are "all in" this conflict.
Americans hate war. We do have a responsibility to use our power to stop a regional conflict from becoming a wider world war.
