We, the hard working people of America, should be allowed the opportunity to opt out of social Security being automatically withdrawn from our earned wages.
Money is being taken from everyone's paychecks and supposedly put towards our individual retirement however; the money being taken from us is given to others and we are then told that when we reach retirement age, all the money automatically taken from me may not be available for m in retirement.
We should have the opportunity to opt out of having automatic withdraws so we can invest in our futures ourselves.
