Provide Opt-In For Personal Tax Increase In Exchange for Congressional Reform

Created by S.S. on December 29, 2012

Contingent on congressional inability to pass a federal debt reduction plan by the deadline proposed in the Budget Control Act of 2011, we petition the office of the President to sign an Executive Order which mandates the IRS to support individual citizen "opt-in" for various tax increases, chosen by the individual. These tax increases may include any additional individualized tax deferments. These taxes will be held directly by the IRS to be released to reduce the national debt once a comprehensive budget and debt reduction plan is reached.

In return, the effects of the bill will not go into effect, House and Senate pay is reduced to the median income of their state until a law is passed, and congressional MRA budget must forever be exposed with detailed line item expenditures.
