I would like to urge the government to extend a payroll tax exemption (only the companies portion) to 501 (c) 3 organizations that have an operating budget of $10 Million or less.
Community Based Organizations are the key support, and in many instances the only resource available for those who depend on them. Historically CBO's provide a better and more cost effective service then government entities, i.e. health and social welfare. CBO's are generally supported by its community through fundraisers. The more mandatory expenses it has the less services it could provide, and the less individuals it could assist.
