It seems daily the Syrian government and Russian military planes fly over Aleppo and drop off bombs which kill children and women. This is the ground for another desperate generation of youth finding the only way to let out their pain is in extremism and coming back to the western world for destruction.
The US is the only country in the world that can and often has the will to protect the weak. Syria is right at the doorstep to the West. The unspeakable crimes the Russians and the Syrian Government are committing need to end.
The US Government needs to provide the people of the Syrian cities with defensive weapons that at least scare away the helicopters that float above the house-roofs and drop off barrel bombs. Calling the situation "complicated" is no excuse.
