Provide relief for students who are already drowning in student loan debt.

My wife and I went back to school when the economy crashed because we knew it was the only way to get good jobs going forward. We have both graduated with Master's degrees and while we are both working we find ourselves saddled with over 200k in student loan debt. I am 50 years old and based on the income based repayment plan I will likely die before my loans are paid back. Why is it that so many other countries (like France) provide a cost free college education to their citizens and the richest, most advanced country in the world can't do the same? Forgive all student loan debt and provide a 4 year education for any US citizen provided they maintain acceptable grades and graduate, Do it before we all drown.
