Provide resources to protect women, minorities, and the LGBT community from cyber-harassment to uphold current laws.

Created by J.S. on February 12, 2015

Cyber harassment is endured daily, and has been thrown into public debate via national media in recent months in the form of GamerGate.

The DOJ and local law enforcement offices have been virtually ineffective in protecting women, children, minorities, and the LGBT community from direct threats of physical harm online. These threats include, but are not limited to: rape; physical assault; "doxxing;" murder.

Additional law enforcement resources are needed to investigate reported cases, and we respectfully request action taken to hold social media websites accountable for not acting upon reports of direct threats of physical harm.

This very serious issue is having an adverse effect on women and girls in the science, technology, engineering, and math professions.
