Currently any military veteran who is retired OR medically discharged has the opportunity to shop at a commissary and/or exchange on military bases. I’m proposing that disabled military veterans who have disabilities from the military be given this opportunity as well. Currently the policy states any retired or medically discharged veterans have the opportunity to shop on military bases. I’m asking everyone to stand with these veterans by proposing ALL disabled service-connected veterans (those veterans who are receiving benefits from the Veterans Affairs for an injury that occured during their active duty) have this opportunity. There is no reason why this policy can’t be changed. The president can sign an executive order allowing this now.
