Undertake a comprehensive medical study of the known Atomic Children who are second generation to the radiation received by Veterans of the nuclear testing program. Provide health/behavioral health coverage and expedite disability claims for the children of Atomic Veterans. Expand and pass the updated RECA bill for 2013 to include all service members who participated in, or witnessed, numerous atmospheric tests and also to those who handled materials, or animals, on radioactive blast sites without protective gear. Acknowledge formally and compensate the families of the numerous Atomic Veterans who were denied medical care or benefits due to the fire of the only official records at the National Archives in 1973. Set a maximum wait time of less than 3 months for a response to claims.
