Provide significant tax incentives for investment in Aquaponics Urban Micro Farms to grow organic local food and jobs.

Created by J.P. on October 01, 2011

Aquaponics can grow both clean safe seafood and organic vegetables in a small indoor footprint. Today, 23 million Americans have no access to such healthy fresh local food. Using abandoned buildings. Aquaponics applies a closed loop system. It recirculates the filtered effluent of the fish to eliminate fertilizer, save billions of gallons of fresh water, reduce the carbon footprint of food, end traditional farm point pollution, and stop the import of 100+ millions pounds of poor quality Asian and South American fish.

A network of self-sustaining and profitable urban micro farms will create green jobs where they are most needed in dense population centers. A micro franchise urban farm model will expand the definition of prosperity and create a new industry in America's inner cities.
