Scientists and Engineers much like teachers are a scarce resource. Those who actively pursue STEM education and careers often find themselves crushed under student loans. STEM careers are vital in our nation and should be supported and those working in those fields as well. If loan forgiveness isn't a viable option at least lower interest rates to a manageable amount. We need to work harder to help those who progress our nation.
