Provide support for individuals and families affected by an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Created by B.P. on January 14, 2013

According to the CDC, the USA has experienced a 78% increase in the prevalence of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) since 2002 to 1 in 88 children born in the USA, including 1 in 54 boys. While the specific causes of autism are unknown, the rapid increase in prevalence of ASDs suggest that environmental factors (e.g. vaccines, environmental pollutants, electromagnetic radiation, and other environmental factors) contribute to the rapid increase in Autism. ASD has a material and detrimental lifelong impact on autistic individuals and their families. These impacts are reduced through therapies and support services.

We ask that the Obama administration provide increased access to therapy, support, and other supportive services to individuals and families affected by an ASD.
