the USA has the duty to oppose war crimes and human rights violations wherever they take place. In Syrian a government is killing its people and systematically destroying the country's infrastructure. The regime's main weapon in this criminal endeavor is it's air power. We as Americans can help the Syrian opposition defend the population from this onslaught by providing the necessary weapons that are totally lacking. We certainly can make sure that these weapons do not fall in the wrong hand. To say otherwise is not credible. Not only it is in our interest to help the Syrian opposition, it is our moral duty to come to the rescue of the defenseless Syrian population..
