Provide a tax break to parents who provide home-based education.

Created by L.M. on March 12, 2015

Parents who provide home based ecucation work hard and spend extra money to ensure their children receive high quality, customized education. In the process, they ease the burden on the public education system by allowing resources to be spent on other children. For these reasons, parents who provide home-based education deserve a tax break.

Specifically, the $1000 per child creditable tax break should be available to any parent who can provide verification that their school-aged child did not attend a publicly funded school during the tax year.
