Provide a tax credit to encourage one parent/guardian to stay at home with the children to help prevent gun violence.

Created by N.E. on December 22, 2012

The recent mass shootings cast a dark shadow on U.S. culture. Too often a call for useless weapons bans follows (e.g. The Columbine shootings occurred before the assault weapons ban expired). In reality the problem starts at home in the early years of life.

Americans have been duped into thinking that two full-time income families are the best. While the parents are out fulfilling their juvenile fantasies of success, children's spirits decay at daycare.

If you bring a child into this world, or adopt one, s/he has the right to a nurturing parent 24 hours a day. The U.S. Government should provide a tax credit for families with one stay-at-home parent in order to foster a less violent society.
