As an additional benefit for employers, I am proposing that state and national governments offer tax credits to businesses that allow their employees to work from home. With this tax break, employers would be less averse to the idea of telecommuting, which would result in happier and more productive workers; improved financial performance for businesses; and a cleaner environment for all.
