provide a Tax Refund for Denial of Services during the 2013 Shutdown.

Created by R.L. on January 05, 2014

An average taxpaying family pays approximately $16 dollars per day in taxes. The average tax credit as of October 17th 2013 would amount to $250 for every tax paying citizen.

But this isn't about reaping financial gain. It is about the fact that our government collects roughly 8 billion dollars everyday of income and payroll taxes every day. For sixteen days in 2013, they shutdown everything to satisfy a partisan squabble. A tantrum. An inability to govern and compromise which is running this nation toward disaster.

Don't allow a bunch of children to hold OUR government hostage and deny services which WE have paid for. Demand fair compensation for lost service. Hold them accountable for their actions.
