To provide technical assistance to grassroot community organizers and/or organizations in HUB and Enterprise Zones will have a greater success in building wholesome, healthy, economically self sufficient communities. People that love and have a greater stake in ensuring the wellness of their communities are currently working hard, without pay, to create healthy communties. Many of these volunteers are professionals with expertise that love the community but require technical support and funding for a short period of time to give them the spring board toward community self sufficiency. Local organizers/orgs also have a better ability to engage local residents to assist in making the community a better place to live. Government can't do everything but it should help foster self sufficiency.
