Many Americans are unaware that religious institutions are exempt from providing uemployment insurance for their employees. We are not talking about clergy; but teachers, secretaries, custodians, and any other general employees of the organization. These people are not providing spiritual services but are providing general services that would be done at any other business in the country and should have the right to be treated with the same respect when they lose their position through no fault of their own.
All employees, no matter who they work for, deserve to have their labor treated with the same dignity and respect.
