Provide Universal Single Payer Healthcare for all Americans as a Right of Citizenship

Universal Healthcare is a moral imperative and a basic human right. Out-of-control healthcare costs have resulted in more than 45 million Americas who lack any form of health insurance and millions more who are under-insured. Rising healthcare costs have resulted in fewer employers being able to provide their workers with health insurance. Medical costs are a major cause of personal bankruptcy, the financial burden on families can be significant and catastrophic. Universal Healthcare will create a healthier and longer living workforce and political stability and vitality for our nation. A Universal Single Payer Healthcare System that protects our citizens from the costs of healthcare would benefit us all in the pursuit of Life, Happiness and the American Dream.
