Provide US Marshals for School Security

Our petition is to expand the US Marshals role to include protection at schools. In light of the type of attacks that have transpired, teachers and administrators should not be given the added burden and responsibility of provide the required security. Because of the unique environment a school presents the security needs to be provide by trained professionals who have been trained in a special program. The role of the US Marshal would not be limited to security during an attack but would also include assisting school administrators with implementing and improving current security in the school.
