The United States Marine Corps has always been a symbol of who we are as a nation and just how much we as a people have progressed in protection the ideals of this great nation. Now then, why is it that suddenly they are dishonored in such a way as to reduce their parade rifles to clubs? They were forced to use rifles that had their firing mechanisms removed, not "safed", but outright removed. It was especially needless, and it had not been done in previous inaugurations. Our Marines have done us timeless honors over the entire existence of this nation, so why is it that we cannot trust them so suddenly?
