To get aid and complete the FAFSA, college students from broken families or those not adopted through the courts must lie on their forms. On the behalf of all those who don't have their mother's information, live with an aunt or grandfather, or who have no idea what their dead parent's PIN was, the government needs to make an allowance on the premises of broken families. Many students can't get the aid they need and deserve and because to lie on this form could mean jail time. Yet, to not lie means sacrificing their future and dreams, and to sacrifice their chance to improve their knowledge in an institute of higher learning.
